Greetings from the President of Nishtha Society!
Nishtha, The Civil Services Society of Hansraj College, embarked upon its journey in the year 2017, with the vision and determination to assist the students of Hansraj College, University of Delhi, in their vision and dream of successfully enduring the coveted Civil Services Examination.
Over the past three years, the Society has progressed with leaps and bounds, achieving newer milestones, setting higher benchmarks, and more importantly functioned as a beacon of light for the multitude of students who aspire to serve this country, by helping them not only to find the right direction— through various insightful speaker sessions, exemplary webinars, interactive study sessions, weekly series on crucial topics from the UPSC- CSE syllabus, compounded by the timely revision of the same through weekly quizzes, etc., — but also and more crucially by igniting the spark within the students, and making them cognizant of the potential they carry within themselves to bring about a profound and impactful change in the future dealings of the events in this country.
This year, we initiated with the vision of promoting inclusivity and achieving a kind of parity and egalitarianism in terms of opportunities for the student community across India. Consequently, we came up with an ingenious and first of its kind initiative of an audio-visual series, which we believe would be benignantly beneficial for the aspirants from the differently abled community. We at Nishtha, have always aimed to minimize the paucities and discrimination and manifold the range of opportunities which otherwise are often overlooked in other situations. Differences are meant to reemphasize the uniqueness that each one of us carry as individuals, and should not be under any circumstance be seen as a disability or judged with any sort of discriminatory prejudice or biasness.
We envision the members of our society to become impregnable and hard-wearing pillars of the Indian Democracy who cater to the needs of the society in all possible capabilities with their dedication, determination, steadfastness, and value for truth, upholding the motto of our Society—” निष्ठा धृति सत्यम “.
I am fortunate to be a part of the Hansraj and Nishtha family which untiringly assists me in my endeavours to continually raise the benchmark of our success. An ardent and devoted team of council and core members, and passionate members, form the backbone of our empowering and visionary Society . I view my role as a leader and a friend who facilitates the overall development of the students of our Society.
I wholeheartedly welcome the new batch of students and invite them to embark on an intellectually invigorating journey towards the realization of their aspirations with us at Nishtha.
