Experience

• Envisioning to furnish an inclusive environment to all the diligent civil services aspirants, the Society pioneered an enriching audio-visual series on its official YouTube channel. With the belief that no disability should become an obstruction in the preparation of a determined aspirant, this first-of-its-kind and ingenious initiative is intended towards catering to the needs of all the differently-abled aspirants, by covering some of the most crucial topics pertinent to the UPSC-CSE.

• The Society is acclaimed for organizing many successful speaker sessions and webinars, each of them witnessed the footfall of maximum aspirants from across the country.

• Adding feathers to its bright success cap, the Society has also collaborated with numerous esteemed organisations like Edukemy, DU Express, Next IAS, GS-SCORE, for various flagship events and sessions.


• The annual fest of Nishtha, ‘Paciencia’, was organised in 2019 with the primary intent of introducing the distinctive and ingenious society to the budding civil servants of the Delhi University. The fest encompassed several enticing games for the student community, including ‘Treasure Hunt’, ‘Map Master’, ‘Hit the Target’, ‘Hit the Coin’, ‘Mind your Larynx’, and ‘Lucky 7’, with exciting cash prizes.

• Adding feathers to its bright success cap, the Society has also collaborated with numerous esteemed organisations like Edukemy, DU Express, Next IAS, GS-SCORE, for various flagship events and sessions.
• Nishtha Society was honoured with a profound appreciation letter from The Media Powerhouse- Newslaundry for the hard work and commitment manifested by the Society.
• We received an appreciation letter from Major General Rajesh Sahai (Retd.), a President Awardee, who has served as an Examiner in UPSC and Chief of Staff, Delhi area.
• A letter of appreciation was bestowed upon us by Shri Akhilesh Mishra- The Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, on successfully conducting the astounding annual fest, ‘Sankalp’ amidst the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Events

Aviक्षित’21

‘Aviक्षित’21’ was an unexcelled Flagship Event of Nishtha that imbued the student community from across the panoply of Indian colleges, with the invaluable treasure of knowledge and intellectual acuity. The 7-day spellbinding and all-encompassing event was adorned with a star-studded lineup of some of the most distinguished figures from the sphere of Civil Services, including IAS Nishant Jain, IPS Safin Hasan, IRS Urvi Verma, IPS Amit Lodha, IAS Manuj Jindal, IPS Suraj Singh Parihar, and Ms Nidhi Kaushik, who adeptly expounded on the diverse facets of the UPSC-CSE as well as the service life of a bureaucrat.

उद्देश्य’21

उद्देश्य’21, a 3-day edifying event, was embellished by the most renowned names from the Indian Bureaucracy like IAS Sonal Goel, IAS Isha Duhan, and IAS Yogesh Patil. The speakers not only discoursed on some of the most crucial aspects of the coveted UPSC-CSE but also expertly demystified some of the myths that revolve in and around the Civil Services.

Sankalp’21

Sankalp’21 was the 2-day engrossing annual fest of Nishtha that left all the participants astounded. The first day of the fest entailed a variety of fun-filled yet fruitful competitions for the aspirants. The following day witnessed a lineup of a renowned and knowledgeable panel of speakers including Justice Markandey Katju, Ambassador Akhilesh Mishra, IAS Himanshu Nagpal, and Maj. Gen. Rajesh Sahai, who expatiated on some of the most pivotal themes which every individual who aspires to serve the country, should be mindful of.

Aarambh

Held in the month of November, 2020, Aarambh was a 4-day illuminating flagship event of Nishtha that celebrated the spirit of Indian Bureaucracy. The event featured some of the most renowned civil servants of India including IAS Naveen Kumar Chandra, IAS Prem Prakash Meena, IAS Nandini Maharaj, and IRS Nirupama Kotru as the chief guest speakers, who proficiently guided the budding civil servants on profuse crucial aspects ranging from preparations as a beginner to challenges in the service.

Parishram’20

Parishram’20, the very first all-virtual flagship event of the Society, was graced by some of the most prominent personalities from diverse professional spheres, notably, Mr Ayussh Sanghi, IFS Shubhangi Srivastava, Dr Mahipal Singh Rathore, IAS Nandini Maharaj, Dr Gaurav Garg, and Ambassador Akhilesh Mishra.

Paciencia 2.0

Paciencia 2.0 was a breathtaking annual fest of Nishtha which was organised in the month of February, 2020. A compendium of various astounding and engrossing games namely Nation Mania, Scattered Gories, World Tour, Drawn Swords, and Whispering Challenge, this event augmented the zest of the young minds across Delhi University.

Class of Hansraj

• Class of Hansraj, a 4-day illuminating event which was organised in February 2021, was graced by some of the most scintillating figures from the Indian Bureaucracy, including Ambassador Sanjay Bhattacharyya, IAS Ira Singhal, Mr Mrunal Patel, and IAS Mukund Thakur. A compendium of several erudite speaker sessions, Class of Hansraj endowed the budding civil servants with an opportunity to gain a plethora of knowledge on various significant aspects of the esteemed examination.

At Nishtha, we believe that every great achievement is a peak in a mountain range of commitments that the Society exhibits. Having traversed a staunch journey in fostering an environment of intellectual vigour and enthusiasm for the aspirants to converge, develop holistically, and accomplish their coveted goal, the Society has been conferred with a plethora of accolades and accreditations from various prominent personalities and organisations.
